Our program begins with the premise that all children are inherently musical. Our teachers are specifically trained to nurture your child's natural enthusiasm for music and movement while supporting each child's musical development. They create a fun, informal, social setting that ignites a love for musical play in children and parents alike.
Julie Friedman
A native Saint Louisan, Julie is the director of Gateway Music Together. Bringing families together in the creation of musical community is her passion and her inspiration for beginning this program in Saint Louis.
She brings to her classes immeasurable warmth & enthusiasm together with an ability to engage both children and their caregivers in a delightfully lighthearted musical experience.

Holly Smith
An entertainer, a dancer and simply one of the most beautiful vocalists that you could imagine, Holly joins our staff from Westchester, New York.
With a degree in Choral Music Education, Holly has a unique ability to inspire and connect with young children. Her classes are are an educational and exceedingly joyful treat!
Jennifer MacArthur
For native St. Louisan Jennifer MacArthur, music has always played a prominent role in family life. She began choral singing when she was five years old and at fifteen years of age, was leading liturgical solos. Jen has directed Choirs at both Ursuline Academy in Cincinnati and at Villa Duchesne here in Saint Louis. She lends her beautiful voice for weddings and other select occasions as well.
In addition to her work with us at Music Together®, Jennifer conducts an early childhood learning through play program at the City Center. She holds an MSW from Saint Louis University and has worked with children and their parents for 15 years. We welcome Jen to the Gateway Music Together staff!
Music Together Staff
All of our instructors have specialized training in musical development during the early childhood years. Each one utilizes the Music Together Curriculum with a unique style. Feel free to take the opportunity to experience different instructors by scheduling make-up classes taught by any of our staff members.
